Around 350 young people and around 100 leaders and adult supporters from Weymouth and Portland Scouts paraded along the Esplanade in Weymouth to a service at St Johns Church on St Georges Day 23rd April 2023. All sections joined in with Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers parading, and Squirrels (the youngest section) meeting everyone at the church. During the service Chief Scout awards were given out to Beavers, Cubs and Scouts and some long service awards and woodbadges were given out to leaders.
