IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING BEAVER INTAKE

 

Following a meeting of the existing Beaver Leaders, it has been agreed that the Group will not accept any new Beavers between April and September 2012.

This is due to Leaders own family commitments and taking up University placements.

The shortage of Appointed Leaders has put extra stress on the Leaders, especially if they or their siblings become ill.


It is intended to continue to run both Colonies until the summer break. If by then, we have not been able to recruit sufficient Appointed Leaders, the two Colonies will be combined and will meet on Fridays only.

Consequently, the ' Waiting List ' for Beavers at Weymouth South Scout Group is also currently closed and will remain so for the foreseeable future.
