Welcome to the Cubs section!

Hello my name is Maureen and I am the Assistant District Commissioner for Cub Scouts in Weymouth and Portland

Cub Scouts is the second section in the Scouting family. The joining age for Cubs is between seven years nine months and eight years old. The Cubs are recognised by      the green sweatshirts, navy activity trousers and group scarf.

Cub Scouts enjoy different activities such as swimming, music, exploring, computing, learning basic survival skills such as map reading and cookery skills all of which can result in you being awarded a badge to wear on your uniform. Cub Scouts go on trips and attend District activities such as camping in a tent for up to 48 hours and doing loads of outdoor activities.

With the hard work and dedication of the leaders who run the section, the children have a fun and action packed time in Scouting and they will carry these memories with them for a lifetime.

WHERE DO WE MEET?
