Awards

During special services held by Weymouth & Portland Scouts throughout the year, members of Scouting are presented Awards for all their hard work.

Each section of the Scout Association has an award meant to come from the Chief Scout; in Beavers, the award is the Chief Scout's Bronze Award, in Cubs it is Silver, in Scouts it is Gold and in Explorers, Platinum and Diamond. The only award higher than this is the Queen Scout Award. These Awards are badges of great accomplishment and have taken along time and hard work to achieve.

The adults and Leaders are recognised for their long service and dedication they give on a weekly basis. It is with their help and hard work that Scouting in Weymouth & Portland is flourishing.
